Geographic presence
Webull’s regulated broker-dealer subsidiaries operate in 12 markets: the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Japan, South Africa, and the Netherlands. The company primarily offers trading in U.S.- and Hong Kong-listed securities.[19][2]
Webull identifies 200 Carillon Parkway, St. Petersburg, Florida, as its U.S. headquarters and lists an additional office at 44 Wall Street, New York City.[4] A 2024 company notice identified a Singapore address as its principal executive office at that time; it is distinct from the U.S. headquarters listing.[20]
The 2025 annual filing does not provide revenue by country or region, or an employee breakdown by geography.[19] [19][2][4][20]
Business segments
Webull reports **one reportable segment**, covering its consolidated operations; it does not disclose separate reportable business segments or segment-level revenue contributions. The single segment therefore represents 100% of reported consolidated activity, rather than a separately quantified business line.[21]
The segment’s focus is Webull’s digital investment platform and related investment products and tools. The FY2025 Form 20-F describes these activities at the consolidated level, not as separately reported segments. The latest materials identified include the FY2025 Form 20-F and Q2 2026 results.[1][22] [21][1][22]
Company history
Webull began in February 2016 as a mobile market-information app developed by Hunan Fumi Information Technology. Anquan Wang is identified as its founder and CEO. In May 2018, the company began offering U.S. brokerage services, marking its expansion from market information into investing services.[5][23]
The company expanded internationally in stages, entering Hong Kong in 2020 and Singapore and Australia in 2022. It added investment-advisory services in 2023 and futures in 2024, while expanding into Japan, the U.K. and Canada.[24][25][26][27]
In April 2025, Webull completed its business combination with SK Growth Opportunities and began trading on Nasdaq as BULL. In August 2026, it completed the acquisition of approximately 99.36% of Thailand’s Pi Securities.[28][29][30] [5][23][26][27][28][24][25][29][30]
