Company history

Founded in 1874 by Joseph E. Watts as a machine shop serving New England textile mills, the company developed into a manufacturer of plumbing and water-control products. Burchard Everett Horne acquired Watts Regulator Co. in 1918, and the company introduced a temperature-and-pressure relief valve during the 1930s.[18][8]

The Delaware parent company was incorporated in 1985, and the business became publicly traded as Watts Industries in 1986. It adopted the name Watts Water Technologies, Inc. in 2003.[18] In 2014, Robert J. Pagano, Jr. became president and CEO. The company expanded through its 2023 acquisition of Bradley Corporation and its 2024 acquisition of Josam Company.[20] [18]
