Overview
Veralto Corporation is a global provider of water quality and product quality technologies. Its stated purpose is “Safeguarding the World’s Most Vital Resources.” The Water Quality segment supplies water analysis and treatment solutions for drinking water, wastewater and industrial applications. The Product Quality & Innovation segment supplies marking and coding, packaging and color technologies used in product identification, traceability and quality control.[1][2][3]
Veralto became an independent company following its separation from Danaher in 2023. It operates across North America, Western Europe and other global markets. In 2025, it generated $5.5 billion in revenue and had nearly 17,000 employees at year-end.[4][5][6] [1][2][3][4][5][6]

Veralto’s Water Quality products include Hach analytical instruments, digital tools and consumables for water testing; Trojan Technologies ultraviolet-disinfection and membrane-filtration systems for treating water and removing contaminants; and ChemTreat chemical-treatment plans and dosing protocols tailored to customers’ water-use and reuse needs. The portfolio also includes reagents, software and services used in drinking-water, industrial-water and wastewater applications.[7][8][9][2]
In Product Quality & Innovation, Videojet and Linx supply marking and coding technologies and consumables, including Videojet inline printing for products and packaging. X-Rite supplies solutions for measuring color and appearance consistency, and Pantone provides color standards. Veralto also offers digital asset management, marketing resource management and product information management software.[10][11][12][13][3] In 2025, approximately 61% of company sales came from recurring offerings, including consumables, spare parts, services and software; this is not a products-versus-services revenue split.[5] [7][8][9][2][10][11][12][13][3][5]

Business segments
Veralto reports two business segments. **Water Quality** provides water analytics and treatment solutions for drinking water, industrial processes and wastewater. Its Hach, Trojan Technologies and ChemTreat businesses offer instruments, treatment technologies, reagents, services and software. The segment generated $3.321 billion in 2025 sales, approximately 60% of Veralto’s total.[2][20]
**Product Quality & Innovation** supplies marking and coding, packaging and color-measurement tools, software and consumables. Its Videojet, Linx, Esko, X-Rite and Pantone brands serve customers seeking product traceability, quality control, regulatory compliance and packaging design capabilities. The segment generated $2.182 billion in 2025 sales, approximately 40% of the total.[3][20] [2][20][20][3][20]
Company history
Veralto’s history predates its formation as a standalone company. Danaher assembled the businesses that would become Veralto over several decades, acquiring water-testing company Hach in 1999, Videojet’s predecessor Marconi Data Systems in 2002, and water-treatment company Trojan Technologies in 2004. It expanded the product-identification side of the portfolio with EskoArtwork in 2011 and X-Rite, which included Pantone, in 2012.[21][22][23][24][25]
In September 2022, Danaher announced plans to separate its Environmental & Applied Solutions segment into an independent company. It named the planned company Veralto in February 2023. The separation was completed on September 30, 2023, and Veralto began trading on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol VLTO on October 2, with Jennifer Honeycutt as president and chief executive officer. In 2024, Veralto acquired TraceGains, adding software for food-and-beverage ingredient tracking and compliance.[26][27][28][29] [21][22][23][24][25][26][27][28][29]
