Overview

Trump Media & Technology Group Corp. (TMTG) is a digital media and technology company with businesses in social media, streaming and financial technology. Its principal products include Truth Social, a social platform available on mobile and web; Truth+, a streaming service; and Truth.Fi, a financial-technology initiative. The company describes its mission as countering what it calls Big Tech’s assault on free speech.[1]

TMTG reported $3.68 million in revenue for fiscal 2025 and 31 employees as of December 31, 2025.[6][7] [1]

Products & services

Trump Media & Technology Group’s named products include Truth Social, a social-media platform available on iOS, Android, iPad, and web. Its features include direct messaging, Groups, a personalized “For You” feed, Discover, account recommendations, and integration with Truth+; advertising on the platform is a source of Media-segment revenue.[8]

Truth+ provides live-TV and on-demand streaming, including 24-hour news streams and Great American Media programming. It is offered through apps for Android, iOS, web, Apple TV, Android TV, Amazon Fire TV, and Roku; the company also describes a proprietary content-delivery network. A premium subscription tier, the Patriot Package, entered public beta in July 2025.[12]

Truth.Fi offers separately managed accounts and customized ETFs and exchange-traded products, with an investment approach oriented around “America First” principles and possible allocations to bitcoin and related assets. The company reported five Truth.Fi ETFs launched on the NYSE in December 2025: TSSD, TSFN, TSIC, TSES, and TSRS.[16] In July 2026, TMTG announced the Truth API, a planned licensed data service for financial-services partners offering real-time posts from selected Truth Social accounts, millisecond delivery, continuous coverage, and an archive dating to 2022; the announcement anticipated institutional availability from August 1, 2026.[17]

For the six months ended June 30, 2026, Media-segment revenue comprised $2.0523 million in advertising and $372,100 in subscriptions; the disclosure does not allocate those amounts to individual Media products. Truth.Fi reported $116,500 in management-fee revenue.[18] [8]

Geographic presence

Trump Media & Technology Group Corp.’s principal executive office is in Sarasota, Florida. The company’s 2026 second-quarter filing and 2025 annual filing do not identify other office or operating-site locations, or provide an employee breakdown by geography.[19]

The company describes Truth Social as designed to be a global platform, but the filings reviewed do not quantify users, sales, or revenue by country or region. Disclosed segment reporting is organized by business segment rather than geography.[22] [19]

Business segments

Trump Media & Technology Group reports two operating segments: **Media** and **Truth.Fi**. Management identifies the CEO as the chief operating decision maker and evaluates the segments using Segment EBITDA.[23][8]

**Media** includes Truth Social and Truth+, the company’s social-media and streaming platforms. Segment revenue is reported from advertising and subscriptions, without a separate revenue breakdown for the two platforms. **Truth.Fi** is the company’s financial-services and FinTech business, including investment products such as separately managed accounts and ETFs; its reported segment revenue is management fees.[18][16]

In the first half of 2026, Media generated $2,424.4 thousand of revenue and Truth.Fi $116.5 thousand, approximately **95.4%** and **4.6%** of the $2,540.9 thousand total. For Q2 2026 alone, Media generated $1,614.3 thousand and Truth.Fi $55.4 thousand, approximately **96.7%** and **3.3%** of the $1,669.7 thousand total. Percentages are calculated from reported segment revenue.[25] For FY2025, Media reported $3,682.6 thousand in revenue and Truth.Fi reported none.[24] [23]

Company history

Trump Media & Technology Group Corp. (TMTG) was publicly announced on October 20, 2021, alongside plans for TRUTH Social, its social-media platform. Devin Nunes was named chief executive in December 2021, with the appointment effective in January 2022.[26][27]

TRUTH Social became generally available in 2022, with releases for iOS, web and Android during the year; the company subsequently added features including Groups and expanded the service internationally in 2023.[9][10] TMTG became publicly traded following the March 25, 2024 completion of its business combination with Digital World Acquisition Corp. The combined company took the TMTG name and began trading on Nasdaq as DJT.[28][29]

In 2024, TMTG expanded beyond social media, adding streaming to Truth Social and launching the standalone Truth+ service.[12] It announced the Truth.Fi financial-technology initiative in January 2025, followed by financial-product launches later that year.[16] In December 2025, TMTG agreed to merge with fusion-energy company TAE Technologies; the proposed merger was still pending in TMTG’s second-quarter 2026 report.[30] In April 2026, Kevin J. McGurn was appointed interim CEO, succeeding Nunes.[31] [9]
