Titan America SA is the Belgium-incorporated holding company for a vertically integrated U.S. building-materials business. Its core activities are producing and supplying cement, aggregates and ready-mix concrete, as well as related products such as concrete block and fly ash for construction markets. The operating business traces its founding to 2000.[1][2][3]
Its operations are concentrated in the Eastern United States, particularly Florida and the Mid-Atlantic, with a footprint extending from the New York–New Jersey area to Miami. The company describes its mission as providing construction materials, solutions and services for safe, sustainable homes, buildings and infrastructure; its website lists more than 100 facilities.[4][5][6][7]

Products & services
Titan America’s cement portfolio includes Type IL Portland limestone cement, BrightCem®—an ASTM C1157 performance-based cement with high limestone content—and Type IT blended cement. The company describes its lower-carbon cement as replacing more than 95% of ordinary Portland cement (OPC), with up to 10% lower CO₂ emissions per ton than OPC. Type IT is a ternary blend that can incorporate fly ash, slag, calcined clay or natural pozzolans; depending on the supplementary cementitious material used, it can reduce clinker use by up to 50% versus OPC and achieve up to 50% lower embodied CO₂.[9][10]
Ready-mix concrete includes customized mixes and GreenCrete®, which the company describes as having third-party-verified embodied CO₂ below industry averages. Titan also produces aggregates and concrete masonry units in varied shapes, sizes, finishes, colors and fire ratings, including lightweight and normal-weight units for structural, commercial, institutional and residential applications.[11][12][13][14]
Titan’s fly-ash offering uses an electrostatic beneficiation process to remove excess unburnt carbon and produce specification-grade material for blended cement or partial cement replacement in ready-mix concrete. Related technical services include testing and validation, quality assurance and control, specialized testing, mix-design development, and laboratory and field testing with statistical analysis.[15][16][17][18] [9][11][15][16][10][12][13][14][17][18]

Company history
Titan America’s U.S. business developed through TITAN Group’s expansion into the United States. In 2000, TITAN acquired Tarmac America, expanding its U.S. operations and establishing a foundation for the business later known as Titan America.[26] In 2007, the company expanded its ready-mix concrete operations in the Carolinas by acquiring S&W Ready Mix Concrete, which operated 26 plants in North and South Carolina.[27] In 2014, the U.S. operations were brought together under the Titan America name; Titan Florida also announced that the former Tarmac America Florida business had been renamed Titan Florida LLC.[28][29]
Titan America SA was incorporated in Belgium in July 2024 as the holding company for the U.S. business and to facilitate a public offering.[3] Its shares began trading on the New York Stock Exchange in February 2025, while parent TITAN Cement International retained a majority stake.[30] In 2026, Titan America completed its acquisition of Keystone Cement, adding the Pennsylvania cement producer to its operations.[31] [3][26][27][28][29][30][31]
