Techtronic Industries’ Power Equipment products include Milwaukee professional power tools, outdoor power equipment, lighting, hand tools, storage, protective equipment and accessories. Milwaukee’s cordless platforms include M18 FUEL tools with POWERSTATE brushless motors, REDLITHIUM batteries and REDLINK electronics, as well as the MX FUEL equipment platform. Its ONE-KEY technology adds connected-tool and inventory-management capabilities.[8]

The RYOBI range includes power tools, outdoor equipment and cleaning products built around its ONE+ 18V and 40V battery systems; named cleaning lines include Emerge, EmergePet and CleanSlate. The Floorcare & Cleaning business also includes Vax cordless cleaning products and carpet washers, and Dirt Devil cleaning products.[11] In 2024, Power Equipment accounted for 93.9% of sales and Floorcare & Cleaning for 6.1%; these are segment shares, not shares for individual products or brands.[4] [8]

Geographic presence

Techtronic Industries’ largest sales region is North America. In 2024, it generated US$11.08 billion there, or 75.8% of total sales; Europe accounted for US$2.32 billion (15.9%), and the rest of the world for US$1.22 billion (8.3%).[16]

The company’s mapped manufacturing and innovation footprint includes locations in the United States, Mexico, the United Kingdom, Germany, the Czech Republic, China and Vietnam. The map includes innovation facilities as well as manufacturing locations, so these should not all be interpreted as factories.[17][18] [16]

Techtronic Industries reports two business segments. **Power Equipment** covers its power-tool and equipment activities, including Milwaukee Tool and RYOBI products. It generated US$13.72 billion in 2024 sales, approximately 93.9% of the total reported for the two segments. **Floorcare & Cleaning** generated US$899 million, or approximately 6.1%.[19]

The company also presents a separate geographic sales breakdown, rather than treating regions as additional business segments. In 2024, North America accounted for approximately 75.8% of sales, Europe 15.9%, and the rest of the world 8.3%.[16][5] [19]

Company history

A milestone timeline for Techtronic Industries’ RYOBI ONE+ 18V system dates ONE+ to 2000 and the introduction of lithium 18V technology to 2007. It records further developments in 2012–2014, including Lithium+, Lithium Hybrid and Lithium+ HP products.[22] [22]
