Products & services
Solaris Energy Infrastructure’s Power Solutions include configurable power-generation, control, and distribution systems for data centers and other commercial and industrial uses. Its equipment offerings include turbines, turbine-engine cores, ancillary equipment, and power-control and distribution equipment; solutions can provide primary or backup power, operate alongside grid power, or support co-located generation.[10][11][12] The company’s rental portfolio also includes transformers, switchgear, breakers, E-houses, panels, battery packs, and substations.[13]
The company describes turnkey power-plant capabilities that can combine generation equipment with balance-of-plant equipment, batteries, energy-management systems, and operating support. A July 2026 contract amendment covered an approximately 660 MW plant designed for AI workloads.[14] Solaris also offers power-plant design and engineering, deployment, ownership and operation, preventive maintenance, and real-time monitoring.[15] In July 2026, Solaris announced an acquisition adding generator and turbine installation, commissioning, operations and maintenance, and repair capabilities across aeroderivative, industrial, heavy-duty, hydroelectric, and steam equipment.[16]
Solaris Logistics Solutions serves oilfield operations with an automated, all-electric proppant-management system for wet and dry sand, top-fill sand loading, metered tub-direct sand delivery controlled from a data van, last-mile logistics and field services, and silo-based fluid management.[17] Across its power fleet, weighted-average deployed capacity was about 950 MW in Q2 2026 and 930 MW in H1 2026; these are fleet figures, not individual product ratings.[9] Power Solutions represented 72% of total revenue and 80% of total segment Adjusted EBITDA in Q2 2026, and 69% and 78%, respectively, in H1 2026.[18] [10][11][12][14][9][18][13][15][16][17]
Geographic presence
Solaris Energy Infrastructure, Inc.’s disclosed U.S. footprint includes data-center power plants in Tennessee and Mississippi; its investor materials also identify a Power Solutions facility in Buffalo, Texas, transformer and switchgear manufacturing in Livingston, Texas, and headquarters in Houston, Texas. The company’s FAQ lists an additional manufacturing facility in Early, Texas.[19][20]

Business segments
For FY2025, Solaris Energy Infrastructure reported two business segments: Solaris Power Solutions and Solaris Logistics Solutions. Solaris Power Solutions provides power generation, control, and distribution infrastructure for data center, energy, and other commercial and industrial customers. It generated $333.5 million, approximately 53.6% of consolidated revenue of $622.2 million.[25][2][26] [25][2][26][26]
Company history
Solaris’s operating predecessor, Solaris Oilfield Infrastructure, LLC, was formed in July 2014, with William A. Zartler identified as its founder. The public-company parent was incorporated in February 2017 to facilitate an IPO, which it completed in May of that year.[27][28][29]
In 2017–18, the company expanded its oilfield logistics capabilities, opening a transload facility in Kingfisher, Oklahoma, and acquiring Railtronix inventory-management technology for integration with its PropView platform.[30][31][32] In 2024, it entered distributed power solutions through its acquisition of Mobile Energy Rentals; following the acquisition, it changed its name from Solaris Oilfield Infrastructure to Solaris Energy Infrastructure and its NYSE ticker from SOI to SEI.[33][34]
The company broadened its power business through subsequent acquisitions: HVMVLV in August 2025, adding electrical control and distribution equipment capabilities, and Genco in March 2026, adding gas-turbine generators held for lease.[35][36][37] In April 2025, Solaris also formed Stateline Power with CTC Property for a data-center power project.[38] [27][28][35][38][29][30][31][32][33][34][36][37]
