Overview

Rogers Corporation is a global engineered-materials company serving electronics, automotive, industrial, aerospace and defense, and other markets. Its two core segments are Advanced Electronics Solutions, which makes circuit materials, ceramic substrates, busbars and cooling solutions, and Elastomeric Material Solutions, which supplies engineered materials for cushioning, sealing, vibration management, thermal management and impact protection.[1][2]

The company describes its purpose as being a global leader in engineered materials “to power, protect and connect our world.” Founded in 1832, Rogers reported FY2025 net sales of $810.8 million. It serves customers worldwide, with sales channels near major customer concentrations in North America, Europe and Asia, and facilities across several countries in those regions.[3] A third-party profile reports approximately 3,000 employees as of December 31, 2025.[7] [1]

Products & services

Rogers’ Advanced Electronics Solutions (AES) products include circuit materials, ceramic substrates, busbars and cooling solutions. Named product lines include curamik®, ROLINX®, RO4000®, RO3000®, RT/duroid®, TMM®, AD Series®, Kappa®, COOLSPAN® and SpeedWave® Prepreg; applications include electric and hybrid vehicles, aerospace and defense, renewable energy, wireless infrastructure and industrial drives.[1] As examples of material specifications, the AD255C™ laminate lists a dielectric constant (Dk) of 2.55 and a loss tangent of 0.0014 at 10 GHz, while AD300D™ lists Dk of 2.94 ± 0.05 and loss tangent of 0.0021 at 10 GHz.[8][9]

Elastomeric Material Solutions (EMS) includes polyurethane and silicone materials for cushioning, sealing and vibration management, as well as PTFE and UHMWPE materials for wire and cable protection, insulation, shielding, gasketing and venting. Its brands include PORON®, BISCO®, DeWAL®, ARLON®, eSorba®, XRD® and R/bak®; products serve automotive, industrial, electronics, aerospace, footwear and medical applications.[2][10] Specific offerings include BISCO® RF-120 reflective silicone heat shields and BISCO® BF-2000 silicone foam for sealing and vibration isolation.[11][12]

Among its power-electronics products, curamik® ceramic substrates provide electrical isolation and thermal conduction; Rogers lists thermal conductivity of 24 W/mK at 20°C for a curamik® Power alumina substrate and 170 W/mK at 20°C for a curamik® Thermal aluminum-nitride substrate.[13][14] ROLINX® PowerCircuit combines a busbar and PCB and is specified for 100–500 A and an operating range of −50°C to +125°C.[15] Rogers also provides design engineering, testing, product development and technical support.[16] In FY2025, reported segment sales were $445.2 million for AES, $349.7 million for EMS and $15.9 million for Other, approximately 54.9%, 43.1% and 2.0% of total sales, respectively; these are segment shares, not product-family percentages.[5] [1]

Geographic presence

Rogers Corporation’s 2025 facilities schedule lists manufacturing and other sites in the United States (Chandler, Arizona; Rogers and Woodstock, Connecticut; Carol Stream, Illinois; Bear, Delaware; and Narragansett, Rhode Island), Europe (Eschenbach, Germany; Evergem, Belgium; Budapest, Hungary; and Blackburn, England), and Asia (Suzhou, China, and Ansan, South Korea). Some locations also house administrative offices, innovation centers, or warehouses.[17]

In 2025, net sales were $810.8 million: $336.1 million in APAC (41.4%), $242.6 million in the Americas (29.9%), and $232.1 million in EMEA (28.6%). China accounted for $251.2 million (31.0%) and the United States for $228.9 million (28.2%).[18] For the six months ended June 30, 2026, sales were $417.3 million: APAC $177.0 million (42.4%), the Americas $121.4 million (29.1%), and EMEA $118.9 million (28.5%); China contributed $131.0 million (31.4%) and the United States $111.6 million (26.7%).[19] [17]

Business segments

Rogers reports two strategic operating segments, Advanced Electronics Solutions (AES) and Elastomeric Material Solutions (EMS); its remaining non-core operations are reported as Other.[20]

AES designs, develops, manufactures and sells circuit materials, ceramic substrate materials, busbars and cooling solutions. Its applications include EV/HEV and automotive systems, aerospace and defense, renewable energy, wireless and wired infrastructure, mass transit, industrial equipment and connected devices.[21] EMS sells engineered materials including polyurethane, silicone, PTFE and UHMW polyethylene solutions. Applications include cushioning, gasketing and sealing, vibration management, thermal solutions, wire and cable protection, insulation, shielding and venting.[2] Other includes elastomer components for general industrial applications and elastomer floats used in level sensing in fuel tanks, motors and storage tanks.[10]

For FY2025, net sales were $445.2 million for AES (approximately 54.9% of total), $349.7 million for EMS (43.1%) and $15.9 million for Other (2.0%), out of total net sales of $810.8 million.[5] [20]

Company history

Founded in 1832 by Peter Rogers in Manchester, Connecticut, Rogers began as a paperboard manufacturer serving the textile industry. The company expanded from paper products into transformer-insulation board in the 1890s, introduced FIBERLOY® plastics in the 1920s, and launched PORON® technology in 1958.[22][23]

Rogers broadened its materials and technology portfolio through acquisitions, including curamik electronics in 2011, Griswold LLC in 2018, and Silicone Engineering in 2021.[24]

In 2021, Rogers agreed to be acquired by DuPont, but the companies terminated the merger agreement in November 2022 after the required Chinese regulatory approval was not obtained by the deadline.[27][28] In May 2026, Rogers appointed Ali El-Haj president and chief executive officer.[29] [22]
