The company also offers products through licensing arrangements, including underwear and sleepwear, outerwear, fragrances, slippers and children’s footwear, eyewear, socks and hosiery, home utility products and blankets, and lighting. Licensees manufacture and sell products bearing specified trademarks and may receive design services.[16][17] The FY2026 annual report does not disclose full-year revenue percentages by product category; it reports that women’s apparel, outerwear and handbags each grew more than 20% year over year in constant currency in Q4 FY2026.[18] [1]

Geographic presence

In fiscal 2026, Ralph Lauren generated $8.11 billion in net revenue: $3.33 billion in North America (41.0%), $2.54 billion in Europe (31.3%), $2.10 billion in Asia (25.9%), and $142.5 million in other non-reportable segments (1.8%). Percentages are calculated from the reported regional and total revenue figures.[7][19] North American sales are primarily in the United States and Canada, through retail stores and digital-commerce sites as well as wholesale distribution.[20] [7]

Business segments

Ralph Lauren reports three geographic reportable segments. North America covers Ralph Lauren products sold through retail and wholesale, primarily in the United States and Canada; it generated $3,329.6 million, or approximately 41% of FY2026 net revenues.[20][7] Europe covers retail and wholesale in Europe and emerging markets, with $2,538.9 million (about 31%).[21] Asia covers retail and wholesale in Asia, Australia, and New Zealand, with $2,103.5 million (about 26%).[23][7]

Total FY2026 net revenues were $8,114.5 million.[7] The remaining $142.5 million (about 2%) was reported in other non-reportable segments, primarily global licensing royalty revenues.[24][7] The company states that it does not aggregate operating segments to form its reportable segments; its reported segmentation is geographic rather than by brand, product, or channel.[24][25] [20]

Company history

Ralph Lauren founded the company in 1967, beginning with men’s neckties sold under the Polo name. The business expanded into menswear in 1968 and womenswear in 1971, and introduced the Polo shirt in 1972.[26][27]

The company broadened beyond apparel with fragrances in 1978 and Ralph Lauren Home in 1983. Its first international flagship opened on London’s New Bond Street in 1981.[28] Polo Ralph Lauren went public in 1997, and acquired Club Monaco in 1999.[31][32]

Ralph Lauren named Stefan Larsson CEO in 2015; after Larsson’s departure in 2017, Patrice Louvet became President and CEO.[33][34] The company announced the sale of Club Monaco in 2021, with the divestiture reflected in its FY2026 filing as completed during the fiscal year ended April 2, 2022.[35][36] [36]
