Overview

Perimeter Solutions, Inc. is a fire-safety and specialty-products company. Its Fire Safety business develops and supplies products, equipment and services for wildland, industrial, structural and flammable-liquid fires. Its Specialty Products business serves other markets, including lubricant additives and electronic and electromechanical components.[1][2] Defining offerings include wildland fire retardants and firefighting foams.[3][4]

The company states its mission is to help save lives and protect property and the environment through its products and service.[5] Its products serve customers worldwide, and its manufacturing locations span the U.S., Canada, France, Spain, Germany and Australia.[6]

For scale, Perimeter Solutions reported FY2025 net sales of approximately $652.9 million.[7] At December 31, 2025, it had 356 full-time employees and 15 temporary, seasonal or part-time employees worldwide; its filing also reported that a January 2026 acquisition added 356 full-time and 9 temporary, seasonal or part-time employees.[8] [1]

Products & services

Perimeter Solutions’ wildfire retardants are marketed under the PHOS-CHEK and FIRE-TROL brands. PHOS-CHEK products include MVP-Fx, a gum-thickened, medium-viscosity powder concentrate for aerial application; 259-Fx, a low-viscosity powder concentrate designed to reduce drift and evaporation; LC95 and LCE20 phosphate-based concentrates; and FORTIFY, a ground-applied, season-long preventative retardant. FIRE-TROL 931 is an aerial retardant, while 934 and 936 are liquid retardants for ground application. Retardants are applied by aircraft or ground equipment to make vegetation fuels more resistant to combustion and slow fire spread.[3]

The fire-suppression portfolio includes Class B foams for flammable- and combustible-liquid fires, as well as Class A, Class A/B, and training foams. Named products include SOLBERG FIRE-BRAKE 3150A and FIRE-BRAKE PLUS, and fluorine-free SOLBERG RE-HEALING RF3 and RF3x6, VERSAGARD, and XGARD formulations.[4]

Equipment and related services include retardant mixing, storage, and delivery systems; fixed and mobile airbases; ground-application units; mobile foam equipment; and custom-designed equipment. Full-service airbase operations can supply retardant and equipment and provide operating personnel at designated bases.[23]

Outside Fire Safety, Specialty Products include phosphorus pentasulfide (P₂S₅)-based lubricant additives and electronic and electro-mechanical components made by Intelligent Manufacturing Solutions. In FY2025, Fire Safety represented approximately 74.9% of consolidated net sales and Specialty Products approximately 25.1%, calculated from reported segment sales; the company does not disclose comparable revenue shares for individual product lines.[27] [3]

Geographic presence

Perimeter Solutions’ reported geographic footprint spans North America, Europe and the Middle East, and Australia and the broader Asia-Pacific region. The company’s filings describe Specialty Products activity as primarily concentrated in North America and Europe, with smaller activity in Asia and South America. Fire Safety sales are also concentrated in North America: the FY2025 filing reports that approximately 87% of Fire Safety segment sales were in that region, not 87% of consolidated revenue.[30][31]

Reported manufacturing locations include sites in California, Idaho and Washington; British Columbia and Alberta; France, Germany and Spain; and Australia. The company’s locations page lists manufacturing in the United States, Canada, France, Spain, Germany and Australia, while its representative network covers the United States, Canada, EMEA and Asia-Pacific. The January 2026 MMT acquisition added 14 manufacturing locations serving customers in approximately 50 countries.[32]

At December 31, 2025, the company reported 356 full-time and 15 temporary, seasonal or part-time employees worldwide; it did not provide a country-by-country headcount breakdown. MMT’s acquisition added 356 full-time and 9 temporary, seasonal or part-time employees, but the available reporting does not specify their geographic distribution.[35][36] [30]

Business segments

Perimeter Solutions reports two operating segments: Fire Safety and Specialty Products. Fire Safety formulates and manufactures fire-management products for wildland, industrial, structural, flammable-liquid and other fires, and provides related firefighting equipment and services. Specialty Products develops and markets products for non-fire-safety markets, including phosphorus-pentasulfide-based lubricant additives and other chemical applications; electronic and electromechanical components; and machinery, parts, consumables and services for medical-device manufacturing and selected industrial, aerospace and defense uses.[37]

In FY2025, Fire Safety generated $488.9 million, approximately 74.9% of segment net sales, while Specialty Products generated $163.9 million, approximately 25.1%.[28] For the six months ended June 30, 2026, the mix was approximately 51.5% Fire Safety ($174.5 million) and 48.5% Specialty Products ($164.3 million).[40] [37]

Company history

PHOS-CHEK, a product line that later became part of Perimeter Solutions, was developed by Monsanto in the early 1960s and approved for aerial wildfire use by the U.S. Forest Service in 1963. It subsequently passed through Solutia, Astaris and ICL.[41][42] Perimeter Solutions was established in 2018 after SK Capital acquired ICL’s Fire Safety and Oil Additives businesses.[43]

In 2018–19, the company expanded its firefighting-foam and fire-service capabilities through the acquisition of Solberg and Idaho-based First Response Fire Rescue, River City Fabrication and H&S Transport.[44][45] In 2021, it added wildfire-retardant and foam assets in Spain and Australasia, acquired Magnum Fire & Safety Systems, and completed a business combination with EverArc Holdings and SK Invictus. Its shares began trading on the New York Stock Exchange under PRM on November 9, 2021.[46]

In March 2023, Haitham Khouri became chief executive officer, with Edward Goldberg appointed vice chairman.[51] In January 2026, Perimeter completed its acquisition of Medical Manufacturing Technologies, marking an expansion into medical-device manufacturing equipment and related aftermarket products.[52] [46]
