Products & services
OUTFRONT Media sells advertising placements across billboard, transit and street-furniture formats. Billboard products include static and digital LED billboards, posters, bulletins and wall displays. Transit inventory includes advertising inside and outside buses and rail or subway cars, as well as displays at platforms and stations; street furniture includes transit shelters, benches, kiosks and urban panels.[4][9][10][11]
Digital out-of-home placements span billboards, transit, street furniture and place-based displays. Digital creative can be changed or triggered according to factors such as time, location, traffic, weather or game score; OUTFRONT also describes full-motion video and the ability to run multiple ads on a display. The company reported that digital billboards generated, on average, about 4–5 times the revenue per display of comparable static billboards, while incurring about 2–4 times the costs.[12][13][14][15]
Supporting services include campaign planning, activation and measurement. Named tools include smartSCOUT, which uses aggregated, anonymized location data to estimate impressions, dwell time and audience segments; Digital Direct Ad Server, which supports impression-based digital buying, targeting, dynamic triggers and campaign-delivery reporting; and programmatic access to digital inventory. OUTFRONT also describes audience measurement, proof-of-performance reporting, attribution studies, creative development through OUTFRONT Studios and XLabs, and social amplification.[16][17][18][19][20][21][22][23]
