Geographic presence

Molson Coors’ 2025 reporting divides its operations into two geographic segments: Americas, which includes the U.S., Canada, and various Latin American countries, and EMEA&APAC, which includes European markets and certain countries in the Middle East, Africa, and Asia Pacific. In 2025, net sales were $8.713 billion for Americas and $2.456 billion for EMEA&APAC. Relative to consolidated net sales of $11.141 billion, these segment amounts equate to approximately 78.2% and 22.0%, respectively, before intersegment eliminations. The U.K. accounted for over 55% of EMEA&APAC net sales; most of the segment’s sales were in the U.K., Croatia, Romania, and the Czech Republic.[20]

At year-end 2025, the company had approximately 16,200 employees globally: 9,900 in Americas and 6,300 in EMEA&APAC. It identifies the U.S., Canada, the U.K., and Romania as major employee centers; about 700 Global Business Services employees were based in Milwaukee and Bucharest.[21]

Principal executive offices are in Golden, Colorado, and Montréal, Québec. Segment operational headquarters are in Chicago and Burton-on-Trent, U.K.; other listed administrative or service offices include Milwaukee, Toronto, Prague, and Bucharest. The company’s property inventory lists brewing and packaging locations in the U.S. and Canada, as well as Serbia, Hungary, the U.K., Bulgaria, Montenegro, the Czech Republic, Romania, and Croatia.[22] [20]

Business segments

For fiscal 2025, Molson Coors reported two operating segments: Americas and EMEA&APAC. Americas covers production, importing, marketing, distribution and sales of owned, partner and licensed brands in the U.S., Canada and parts of Latin America. Its 2025 net sales were $8,712.8 million, approximately 78.2% of consolidated net sales.[4][7] EMEA&APAC covers those activities across parts of Europe and certain Middle East, Africa and Asia-Pacific markets. Its 2025 net sales were $2,455.7 million, approximately 22.0% of consolidated net sales.[5][7] Percentages are calculated against consolidated net sales of $11,140.8 million; reported segment sales are before $27.7 million of inter-segment eliminations.[7]

The company also describes its portfolio by beverage type—including beer, flavored beverages, craft, spirits, non-alcoholic beverages, premium mixers and energy drinks—and by Above Premium, Premium and Value price tiers. These are portfolio classifications, not separately reported segments, and the filing does not give separate sales contributions for them.[10] The filing identifies no additional reportable segments beyond Americas and EMEA&APAC.[23] [4]

Company history

Molson Coors traces its origins to John Molson’s Montreal brewery, established in 1786; the company also identifies 1774 as the beginning of its lineage. The histories of two other breweries later brought into the company began with Frederick J. Miller’s Milwaukee brewery in 1855 and Adolph Coors’s Golden Brewery in 1873.[24]

In 2005, Molson Inc. and Adolph Coors Company combined to form Molson Coors Brewing Company.[25] The company expanded its U.S. operations through the MillerCoors joint venture with SABMiller, launched in 2008, and became its sole owner in 2016, acquiring SABMiller’s stake along with the global Miller brand portfolio.[26][27] It entered Central Europe with its 2012 acquisition of StarBev, and in 2020 changed its corporate name to Molson Coors Beverage Company.[28][29] [24]
