Manhattan Associates, Inc. is a software company focused on supply-chain management and omnichannel commerce. Its applications help retailers, manufacturers, distributors and logistics providers manage warehouse operations, transportation, inventory and order fulfillment, including sales and fulfillment across stores and digital channels. Its product portfolio includes cloud-based Manhattan Active solutions and retail applications such as order management and point of sale.

The company serves customers across the Americas, EMEA and APAC, with the United States, Europe and Asia among its principal markets. For 2025, it reported revenue of $1.081 billion; its website describes a workforce of more than 4,500 associates worldwide. Its stated purpose is “We create possibilities that move life and commerce forward.” Founded in 1990, Manhattan Associates is headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia. [1]

Products & services

Manhattan Associates’ product portfolio includes Manhattan Active Warehouse Management (MAWM), a cloud-based, versionless warehouse management system with quarterly innovation. It supports direct-to-consumer, retail replenishment and wholesale fulfillment, and includes labor management, slotting optimization, fulfillment optimization, and warehouse execution capabilities for coordinating automation, robotics and labor.[2] Manhattan Active Transportation Management provides tools for transportation network procurement and modeling, planning, execution and settlement. Its Manhattan Carrier capabilities support motor carriers with load-assignment optimization, fuel-cost reduction and driver-hours-of-service management.[11]

Manhattan Active Omni includes Order Management, Store Inventory & Fulfillment, POS, and Customer Engagement & Service applications. Capabilities include enterprise inventory visibility, order and fulfillment optimization, contact-center and store-associate workflows, and store-based options such as buy-online/pick-up-in-store, curbside pickup, same-day delivery and ship-from-store.[3][12] The company also offers Supply Chain Planning for forecasting, replenishment and allocation, linking planning with warehouse, transportation, order and store solutions.[13]

The Manhattan Active Platform runs on Google Cloud Platform and supports mobile, tablet and desktop access; subscriptions include regular updates and Manhattan ProActive tools for modifying data models, user interfaces and core business logic.[14][15] Professional services include solution planning and implementation, historical-data conversion, training and education, and system or service upgrades.[16] In FY2025, cloud subscriptions generated $408.1 million, or 38% of total revenue, and 96% of combined cloud-subscription and software-license revenue. Warehouse management represented over 70% of software-license mix in Q2 2026 and over 80% in the first half of 2026; these figures are license mix, not shares of total company revenue.[17] [2]

Geographic presence

For FY2025, Manhattan Associates reported revenue of $810.4 million from the Americas (74.9% of total), $215.8 million from EMEA (20.0%), and $55.2 million from APAC (5.1%). Percentages are calculated from reported regional revenue and total revenue. The company defines EMEA as Europe, Middle East and Africa and APAC as Asia Pacific. It reported $373.5 million of revenue from customers outside the U.S., about 35% of total, but did not provide country-level revenue; Americas revenue should not be treated as U.S. revenue.[6]

At year-end 2025, the company had approximately 4,370 employees worldwide, without a regional or country-level employee breakdown. It reports offices in Australia, Chile, China, France, Germany, India, Italy, Japan, the Netherlands, Singapore, Spain and the U.K.; representatives in Mexico; and reseller partners across Latin America, Eastern Europe, the Middle East, South Africa and Asia. Its current office directory lists locations including Atlanta, Bangalore, Barcelona, Santiago, Düsseldorf, Melbourne, New Brunswick, Paris, Shanghai, Sydney, Tokyo, Singapore, Wokingham, Milan and Utrecht.[24][25]

The principal administrative, sales, marketing, support and R&D facility is approximately 209,000 square feet in Atlanta, Georgia. The company also identifies an office in New Jersey and lists its principal executive offices in Atlanta.[26][27] [6]

Business segments

Manhattan Associates reports one operating segment, the Americas, but three geographic reportable segments: Americas, EMEA (Europe, the Middle East and Africa), and APAC (Asia Pacific). Each segment sells and implements the company’s supply-chain commerce solutions. The company describes its offerings as sharing a platform and being sold and deployed in a nearly identical manner.[23]

For fiscal 2025, revenue from external customers was approximately $810.4 million in the Americas (74.9% of consolidated revenue), $215.8 million in EMEA (20.0%), and $55.2 million in APAC (5.1%). Consolidated revenue was $1,081.4 million.[29] [23]

Company history

Manhattan Associates was founded in 1990 in Manhattan Beach, California, by five technology specialists who identified a need for improved shipping and labeling systems while working on an ERP project. The company developed its Pick Ticket Management System, an early predecessor to its warehouse-management software, and Jockey became its first customer in 1991.[7] Manhattan completed its IPO in 1998.[10]

In the 2000s, acquisitions broadened the company’s logistics and supply-chain capabilities: Intrepa added transportation management in 2000, Logistics.com followed in 2002, and Evant expanded demand planning and forecasting in 2005.[10] Manhattan launched its Manhattan Active cloud-native product platform in 2017.[10] Pete Sinisgalli was succeeded as CEO by Eddie Capel in 2013; in 2025, Eric Clark became CEO and Capel became executive chairman.[31][32] [7]
