Company history

The company’s history brings together Harris Corporation and L3 Technologies. A major step in Harris’s expansion came on May 29, 2015, when it acquired Exelis, a defense and aerospace technology company.[52] Harris and L3 agreed to an all-stock merger in October 2018 and completed it on June 29, 2019, forming L3Harris Technologies.[53][54]
