IVECO Group is an international commercial-vehicle and transport-equipment manufacturer. Its core business spans light-, medium- and heavy-duty trucks, buses and coaches, powertrain technologies, specialist vehicles, and related financial services, through brands including IVECO, IVECO BUS, FPT and IVECO CAPITAL.[1] The company’s stated mission is to “advance a more sustainable society.” [2]
The group serves customers globally through an international industrial and service network. In its 2025 reporting, it reported 36,000 employees worldwide, 19 industrial sites and 30 research and development centres; FY2025 net revenues from continuing operations were €13.4 billion.[3][4] [5][1][2][3][4]
Products & services
IVECO’s commercial-vehicle range includes the Daily light van and chassis cab, electric eDaily, Eurocargo medium truck, S-Way heavy on-road truck, T-Way heavy-duty off-road truck and X-Way for mixed on/off-road work. The eDaily is offered with modular batteries up to 148 kWh and motor output up to 140 kW (188 hp) and 400 Nm; manufacturer specifications also give towing capacity of up to 3.5 tonnes. The MY26 S-Way and T-Way are offered with the XCursor 13 engine, with the T-Way available at outputs up to 540 hp.[6][7][8][9]
IVECO BUS serves urban, intercity, school and coach markets with products including E-WAY electric city buses, CROSSWAY intercity buses, STREETWAY urban buses and EVADYS coaches. FPT Industrial supplies engines, transmissions, axles, batteries and electric driveline systems, for use in Group vehicles and for external original-equipment manufacturers.[10][11][12][13][14][15]
Related services include genuine spare parts, maintenance and repair contracts, warranty extensions, remanufactured components, connected-vehicle monitoring and remote diagnostics. IVECO CAPITAL provides financing and insurance solutions, while GATE offers long-term rental and pay-per-use options for electric commercial vehicles. The former IDV/ASTRA defence business transferred to Leonardo in March 2026, and MAGIRUS was transferred to Mutares in January 2025; these are therefore not current Group product businesses.[16][17][18][19][20][21][22][23][24] [14][15][21][22][23][24][6][7][8][9][10][11][12][13][16][17][18][19][20]
Geographic presence
IVECO GROUP’s 2025 annual reporting lists production facilities in the Czech Republic, France, Italy and Spain; Argentina and Brazil; and China. Its commercial presence spans 155 countries. Turin is the company’s headquarters and Amsterdam its statutory seat.[25][26][27]
At 31 December 2025, IVECO GROUP reported 33,325 employees in continuing operations: 28,479 in Europe (85.5%), 3,835 in South America (11.5%), 956 in Rest of World (2.9%) and 55 in North America (0.2%).[28] Its 2025 destination-revenue disclosure totals €10,717 million; France (€1,747 million), Germany (€1,358 million) and Brazil (€1,052 million) were the largest listed destinations, representing 16.3%, 12.7% and 9.8% of that disclosed total, respectively. These percentages use the table’s destination total, not total Group revenue.[29] [25][26][27][28][29][26][27]
Business segments
IVECO GROUP’s 2025 report identifies four product- and service-based operating segments. Truck designs, manufactures and distributes light, medium and heavy vehicles for goods transport under the IVECO brand; its estimated share is about 58% of combined Truck, Bus and Powertrain revenue.[30][31] Bus covers minibuses, city and intercity buses, and coaches under IVECO BUS and HEULIEZ; its estimated share is about 20%.[32][31] Powertrain, under FPT Industrial, makes engines, alternative propulsion systems, transmissions and axles for on- and off-road, marine and power-generation uses; its estimated share is about 22%.[33][31] These approximate shares are calculated from each segment’s reported Adjusted EBIT divided by its rounded Adjusted EBIT margin; the report does not directly disclose revenue for these three segments, so the estimates are not company-reported revenue shares.[31][34]
Financial Services provides retail vehicle financing and leasing, wholesale financing for dealers and distributors, receivables discounting, and fee-based services for CNH’s European brands, dealers and customers.[35] Its 2025 net revenues were €436 million, approximately 3.2% of consolidated net revenues of €13,428 million.[36] The report’s four operating segments are organized by products and services rather than geography.[37] Defence, which includes IDV and ASTRA activities, was classified as discontinued operations in 2025 and is not one of the four continuing operating segments.[38] [30][31][31][32][31][31][33][31][31][34][35][36][36][37][38]
Company history
IVECO’s roots include Magirus, founded by Conrad Magirus in 1864, and Fiat’s entry into commercial vehicles in 1903. In 1975, IVECO was formed by combining Fiat, OM and Lancia in Italy, UNIC in France, and Magirus-Deutz in Germany.[39] The company later expanded through acquisitions and partnerships: it acquired ASTRA in 1986 and Spain’s Pegaso in 1990, and joined with Renault VI in 1999 to create the Irisbus bus business. IVECO launched the Daily light commercial vehicle in 1978.[39][40]
IVECO and CNH Global were demerged from Fiat S.p.A. into Fiat Industrial in 2011; Fiat Industrial and CNH Global combined to form CNH Industrial in 2013.[39] Iveco Group became independent from CNH Industrial on 1 January 2022 and began trading on Euronext Milan on 3 January.[41] In 2026, the Group transferred its Defence Business, including IDV and ASTRA, to Leonardo.[19] [39][40][41][19]
