Business segments
Integer Holdings Corp. reports one operating segment; its financial results are also presented across three product lines: Cardio & Vascular, Cardiac Rhythm Management & Neuromodulation, and Other Markets.[27]
Cardio & Vascular includes components, subassemblies and finished devices for areas such as interventional cardiology, structural heart, neurovascular, peripheral vascular and electrophysiology, as well as infusion therapy, hemodialysis, urology and gastroenterology. It represented approximately 59.7% of FY2025 sales and 60.0% of sales in the first half of 2026.[28][29][30] Cardiac Rhythm Management & Neuromodulation includes pacemakers, implantable cardioverter-defibrillators, cardiac monitors and heart-failure therapies, alongside spinal-cord, sacral-nerve and deep-brain stimulation devices; it accounted for approximately 36.1% of FY2025 sales and 37.8% in the first half of 2026.[16][31][18][29][30]
Other Markets is the remaining product-line category. Integer cited its multiyear exit from Portable Medical as a factor in the category’s decline; the cited reporting does not provide a fuller description of its product mix. Other Markets contributed approximately 4.2% of FY2025 sales and 2.2% in the first half of 2026.[32][29][30] [27][28][29][29][30][30][16][31][18][29][29][30][30][32][29][29][30][30]
Company history
Integer Holdings traces its roots to three predecessor businesses: Uniform Tubes, founded in 1940; Lake Region Manufacturing, founded in 1947; and Wilson Greatbatch Ltd., founded in 1970. The company’s heritage includes Wilson Greatbatch’s work on the practical implantable pacemaker and subsequent development of batteries for implantable medical devices. Later milestones included Lake Region’s first finished coronary guidewire in 1978 and Wilson Greatbatch Technologies’ New York Stock Exchange listing in 2000.[33]
The company grew through acquisitions and combinations. Accellent acquired Lake Region Medical in 2014 and took its name; Greatbatch completed its acquisition of Lake Region in October 2015. Greatbatch was renamed Integer Holdings Corporation effective July 1, 2016.[34][35][36]
Integer continued expanding its medical-device capabilities through acquisitions including Oscor in 2021, Aran Biomedical in 2022, and InNeuroCo in 2023 [37]. In 2024 it acquired Pulse Technologies, and in 2025 it added coating businesses and assets including Precision Coating, VSi Parylene and certain Biocoat assets [38][39][40]. Joseph W. Dziedzic became CEO in 2017 and retired in October 2025, when Payman Khales succeeded him.[41][42] [37][38][39][40][33][34][35][36][41][42]
