Its banking operations are concentrated in Arkansas, Florida, Texas, Alabama, and Tennessee; specialty lending reaches customers beyond its branch markets.[1][2]

The company says its community-banking mission is to exceed the expectations of customers, stockholders, and bankers while enriching the communities it serves. At December 31, 2025, it reported $22.88 billion in assets and $17.48 billion in deposits; for the quarter ended March 31, 2026, it reported $266.7 million in total net revenue.[3] [1]

Products & services

Home BancShares’ Centennial Bank offers personal and business deposit products. Personal checking accounts include Club Checking, Freedom Checking and Diamond Checking; savings options include Money Market and Relationship Money Market accounts. Its Save the CENTS feature rounds up debit-card purchases and transfers the difference to a linked savings account.[6] Business deposit products include non-interest-bearing Business Checking, Commercial Checking with an earnings-offset structure, Business Savings, Business Money Market and Business Relationship Money Market accounts.[9]

Lending offerings include personal term loans and lines of credit, home loans, home-equity loans, and business real-estate and term loans, lines of credit, dealer floor plans and business credit cards; the bank also offers SBA and USDA lending programs.[12] Specialized lending includes a national commercial real-estate (CRE) and commercial-and-industrial lending platform, as well as commercial and consumer marine loans.[1][16]

Digital and cash-management services include mobile check deposit, transfers, bill pay, alerts, eStatements, person-to-person payments, Zelle and mobile-wallet support for Apple Pay, Samsung Pay and Google Pay. Business treasury-management services include ACH and wire transfers, remote deposit capture, Positive Pay, lockbox and zero-balance accounts.[17]

At December 31, 2025, CRE loans accounted for 53.2% of gross loans. The company’s reported product concentration is at the loan-category level; the reviewed disclosures do not provide revenue or performance percentages for individual account or service products.[22] [1]

Geographic presence

Home BancShares’ banking footprint is concentrated in the southeastern and south-central United States, with branches in Arkansas, Florida, South Alabama, Tennessee, and Texas, as well as New York City. As of June 30, 2026, Centennial Bank operated 227 branches: 75 in Arkansas, 78 in Florida, 60 in Texas, 8 in Tennessee, 5 in Alabama, and 1 in New York City.[23][24] The company is headquartered in Conway, Arkansas.[25]

The 2025 annual report also lists loan production offices in Los Angeles, California; Miami, Florida; Dallas, Texas; Chesapeake, Virginia; and Baltimore, Maryland.[26] Home BancShares reported 2,543 full-time-equivalent employees at December 31, 2025, but did not disclose their geographic distribution.[27] The company reports one Banking segment and does not provide revenue by state or region.[28][29] [23]

Business segments

Home BancShares reports one operating/reportable segment: the Banking Segment. Management aggregates its banking operations because the branches and regions have similar operating and economic characteristics. The segment provides commercial, real-estate and consumer loans, time deposits, checking and savings accounts; loans, investments and deposits generate its banking revenue.[28][30]

For fiscal 2025, the Banking Segment represented approximately 100% of consolidated revenue and net income, as it was the company’s sole reportable segment and its results reconcile to consolidated totals.[28][31] The 2026 second-quarter filing continued to report the same single-segment structure.[32] [28]

Company history

Home BancShares was formed in 1998 by an investor group led by John W. Allison and Robert H. “Bunny” Adcock Jr. It established First State Bank in Conway, Arkansas, in 1999, acquired Community Bank in 2003 and Bank of Mountain View in 2005, and completed its initial public offering in 2006. In 2008, it acquired Centennial Bank, and its affiliated banks began adopting the Centennial Bank name.[33]

The company expanded substantially in Florida through six FDIC-assisted bank acquisitions in 2010, three acquisitions in 2012, and subsequent purchases including Liberty Bancshares (2013), Florida Traditions and Broward Bank of Commerce (2014), Bay Cities Bank (2015), and Stonegate Bank (2017). In 2009, C. Randall “Randy” Sims became CEO, while Allison stepped down from that role and remained chairman.[33]

Home BancShares announced its acquisition of Happy Bancshares in 2021 and completed it in April 2022, marking its entry into Texas. It agreed to acquire Mountain Commerce Bancorp in December 2025 and completed the acquisition effective April 1, 2026, entering Tennessee; Mountain Commerce Bancorp merged into Home BancShares and Mountain Commerce Bank into Centennial Bank.[38] [33]
