Overview

Groupe ADP is a French airport operator and infrastructure group that develops and manages airports, alongside businesses in airport retail and services, real estate, and international airport development and services. Its Paris-region airports are Paris-Charles de Gaulle, Paris-Orly and Paris-Le Bourget, complemented by an international network that includes strategic partnerships in Turkey, the Middle East, India and Southeast Asia.[1][2]

The group’s stated purpose is to “Welcome passengers, operate and imagine airports, in a responsible way and all around the world.” In 2025, Groupe ADP reported revenue of €6.704 billion; its network comprised 26 airports that served nearly 379 million passengers. The company reports 30,332 employees.[1] [1]

Products & services

Groupe ADP’s products and services span airport operations, passenger-facing services, property and international airport management. In Paris, it operates Paris-Charles de Gaulle, Paris-Orly and Paris-Le Bourget. Its Retail and Services offer includes duty-free and travel-essential shops, food and beverage, advertising, lounges, parking and hospitality under brands including Extime Duty Free Paris, Extime Travel Essentials Paris, Extime Média and Extime Food & Beverage Paris; other offerings include the Private Suite / Extime PS luxury passenger service and Paris Experience Group visitor experiences.[5]

Parking services include short- and long-term parking, drop-off, subscriptions and services for rental-car operators. Paris-CDG and Orly together had about 47,000 spaces across 31 car parks, as well as 11 drop-off centres, 10 professional car parks and four rental car parks.[8][9] The real-estate activity leases and manages offices, logistics buildings, freight terminals and serviced land, while international airport activities include ADP International, TAV Airports, Airport International Group and GMR Airports. Adjacent services include telecommunications and mobility through Hub One and cybersecurity through Sysdream.[10]

For 2025, segment net external revenue represented approximately 32.7% of Group revenue for Aviation, 28.8% for Retail and Services, 4.6% for Real Estate, 32.0% for International and Airport Developments, and 1.9% for Other Activities; Group revenue was €6,704 million. The company reports this performance mix at segment level, rather than by individual product or brand.[16] [5]

Geographic presence

Groupe ADP operates Paris-Charles de Gaulle, Paris-Orly and Paris-Le Bourget, alongside airport-management businesses across an international network of 26 airports that handled nearly 379 million passengers in 2025. Its reported airport locations include Türkiye, India, Jordan, Chile, Croatia, Kazakhstan, Tunisia, Georgia, North Macedonia, Indonesia and Madagascar.[17][1] The FY2025 traffic table also names airports including Antalya, Almaty, Delhi, Hyderabad, Santiago, Amman and Antananarivo.[18]

The FY2025 reporting reviewed does not provide revenue by country or geographic region. It reports revenue by business segment instead, so the “International & Airport Developments” segment should not be read as a regional revenue allocation.[16] The company reports a team of more than 6,000 in Paris; a country-by-country employee distribution was not identified.[1] [17]

Business segments

Groupe ADP reports five business segments. Aviation covers airport operations and aeronautical activities; it generated €2,192 million of FY2025 external revenue, approximately 32.7% of the Group’s €6,704 million consolidated revenue.[16] Retail and Services includes retail and passenger services such as shops, restaurants and parking; external revenue was €1,933 million, or approximately 28.8%.[16][2]

Real Estate covers airport-area property activities; external revenue was €305 million, approximately 4.5% of the total.[16] International and Airport Developments covers international airport operations and airport development; it generated €2,146 million, approximately 32.0%.[16][19] Other Activities is the fifth reported segment; external revenue was €128 million, approximately 1.9%.[16]

Percentages are calculated from each segment’s external revenue after inter-segment eliminations, divided by consolidated revenue; they may not sum to exactly 100% due to rounding.[16] [16]

Company history

Aéroports de Paris was established as a public entity on 24 October 1945. Key infrastructure milestones followed: Orly Sud opened in 1961, Paris-Charles de Gaulle in 1974, and Orly Ouest Hall 4 entered service in 1986.[20]

On 22 July 2005, the company became a société anonyme, and it was listed on Euronext Paris in 2006. In 2008, it formed an airport-industry alliance with Schiphol Group, including reciprocal 8% shareholdings; in 2012, it completed the acquisition of stakes in TAV Airports and TAV Investment.[21]

In 2016, Aéroports de Paris introduced Paris Aéroport as its traveller-facing brand and adopted Groupe ADP as the group banner.[24] [20]
