Products & services
Global-e’s core product is an integrated cross-border e-commerce platform for merchants selling directly to consumers. It provides localized multilingual shopping experiences, market-specific pricing and payment options, and services for handling local tax, customs and regulatory requirements. The platform also supports shipping, post-sale assistance and returns.[1][6] Its merchant-of-record service supports more than 150 payment methods and handles import-tax reporting and remittance and local import compliance; Global-e also assumes certain fraud and foreign-exchange risks.[7][8]
Additional services include a branded multilingual returns portal with options such as local return addresses, prepaid labels and courier pickup. The ReturnGo offering adds AI-powered returns and exchanges, automation and configurable workflows. Customer-support capabilities include self-service, an AI chatbot and human contact centres; the company reported that nearly half of chatbot cases were resolved autonomously to customers’ full satisfaction.[9][10] Fulfilment options include shipping and handling and multi-local fulfilment using merchant inventory in different locations; in some markets, physical stores can serve as fulfilment hubs and customers can buy online and pick up in store.[11][12]
Shopify Managed Markets is a white-label merchant-of-record offering for Shopify merchants, powered by Global-e and based on Flow API technology.[13] In the second quarter of 2026, Global-e reported $139.4 million in service-fee revenue and $159.6 million in fulfilment-services revenue, approximately 46.6% and 53.4% of total revenue, respectively; these are service-category figures, not revenue shares for individual products.[14] [1][7][8][9][10][11][12][13][14][6][14]
