Freshworks Inc. is a software company focused on AI-enabled customer and employee service experiences. Freshworks reported that Freshservice and Freshdesk each exceeded $100 million in annual recurring revenue (ARR) as of December 31, 2025; in Q4 2025, Enterprise Service Management and Device42 each exceeded $40 million ARR, and Freddy AI exceeded $25 million ARR. These are ARR thresholds, not percentages of revenue. Freshworks reported FY2025 revenue from customers in more than 170 countries: 46% came from North America, 39% from EMEA, and 15% from the rest of the world.[3] In the six months ended June 30, 2026, revenue was $219.9 million in North America, $179.8 million in EMEA, $52.8 million in Asia Pacific, and $13.5 million in Other markets.[17] The United States accounted for $197.3 million, or 42%, of first-half 2026 revenue.[18]

At December 31, 2025, the company had about 4,500 full-time employees across North America, Europe, Asia, and Australia, with a majority in India.[19] A filing disclosure specifies about 3,600 employees in India, or 81% of the workforce; sales and marketing employees outside India and the U.S. were primarily in Australia, selected EU countries, and the U.K.[20]

Freshworks lists its headquarters in San Mateo, California, with other U.S. offices in Denver and Seattle. Company history

Freshdesk was founded in Chennai in 2010 by Girish Mathrubootham and Shan Krishnasamy; Freshworks dates the company’s beginning to October 13, 2010, and its first product, Freshdesk, launched in 2011.[26][27]

The company broadened its product range with Freshservice, an IT service-desk product, in 2014 and Freshsales, a CRM product, in 2016. In 2017, Freshdesk Inc. adopted the name Freshworks Inc. as the business expanded beyond its original product.[28]+3

Freshworks expanded through acquisitions including customer-success software company Natero in 2019, AI customer-service company AnsweriQ in February 2020, and Flint technology in March 2020.[32]+3

Freshworks completed its initial public offering in September 2021, with its shares listed on Nasdaq under the ticker FRSH. In May 2024, Dennis Woodside became President and CEO, succeeding Mathrubootham, who became Executive Chairman.[36]+2 [26]+12
