Geographic presence
F.N.B. Corporation is headquartered in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and operates across seven states—Pennsylvania, Ohio, Maryland, West Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia—and Washington, D.C. Its stated metropolitan markets include Pittsburgh, Baltimore, Cleveland, Washington, D.C., Charlotte, Raleigh, Durham, the Piedmont Triad in North Carolina, and Charleston, South Carolina. The company says its loans and leases principally serve individuals and small- and medium-sized businesses in these primary markets.[23][24][25]
As of June 30, 2026, FNB reported 355 branches across its operating footprint. The latest state-by-state breakdown located, for year-end 2025, was Pennsylvania 185, Ohio 28, Maryland 30, West Virginia 2, North Carolina 95, South Carolina 7, Virginia 7 and Washington, D.C. 1.[24][26] Geographic revenue by state, region or country and employee distribution by geography were not identified in the reviewed reporting materials.[27][28][29] [23][24][25][26][27][28][29]
Business segments
FNB reports three business segments: Community Banking, its regional banking business; Wealth Management, comprising a federally chartered trust company and broker-dealer services provided through a third-party arrangement; and Insurance, an insurance agency and reinsurer. The company continued to report these segments in its Q2 2026 filing.[1][30]
For 2025, approximate contributions calculated from segment net interest income plus non-interest income were Community Banking $1.709 billion (96.8% of consolidated revenue on that basis), Wealth Management $84 million (4.8%), and Insurance $20 million (1.1%). These percentages use consolidated net interest income plus non-interest income of $1.765 billion as the denominator; Parent and Other contributed negative $48 million, so the three operating-segment percentages total more than 100%.[15][31]
FNB investor materials also group revenue activities as retail and commercial banking, capital markets, wealth management, and insurance; this is an alternate business-category presentation rather than the three reportable segments disclosed in the 10-K.[32] [1][30][15][31][32]
