Five Below’s merchandise is organized into eight product “worlds,” with most items priced at $5 or below, including select brands and licensed products; a typical store carries more than 4,000 products.[4][5] Candy includes classic and novelty candy, snacks and chilled drinks; Style includes apparel, jewelry, hair accessories, personal care, skincare and cosmetics; Party covers decorations, party goods, gag gifts and greeting cards; and Room includes lighting, blankets, pillows, décor, accent furniture and storage.[6] Create offers craft kits and supplies such as markers, paint, slime, beads and stickers, along with school supplies.[10] Tech includes phone cables and chargers, power banks, cases, screen protectors, computer and tablet accessories, earbuds, headphones and speakers.[11] Sports includes sport balls, accessories, hand weights and yoga mats, alongside toys such as games, puzzles, action figures, construction sets, remote-control toys and plush; New & Now features seasonal and occasion merchandise.[12][13]

The company sells through stores, fivebelow.com and a mobile app, and offers home delivery, buy-online-pick-up-in-store and on-demand delivery through third parties.[14] In FY2025, sales mix by broad product group was 44.5% Leisure, 30.9% Fashion and home, and 24.6% Snack and seasonal; the groups encompass multiple merchandise worlds rather than providing percentages for each individual world.[15][16] The product descriptions identify categories and examples, but do not specify technical performance measures for individual products.[17] [4]

Geographic presence

Five Below operates stores in the United States, with 2,022 locations across 46 states as of August 1, 2026. It reports its business as one operating segment and does not disclose revenue by country, state, or region.[2][18]

Its principal executive office is in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Five distribution centers are located in New Jersey, Georgia, Texas, Arizona, and Indiana; together they ship about 85% of merchandise for retail stores. As of January 31, 2026, the company reported approximately 600 corporate employees, 1,000 employees at its distribution centers, and 23,000 store employees across 46 states.[19] [18]

Business segments

Five Below reports one operating and reportable segment, covering merchandise sales through its stores and online; it does not report its merchandise categories as separate segments. Accordingly, its sole reportable segment represents 100% of reported sales. The company describes its merchandise assortment as value retailing, with products organized into eight “worlds,” but these are not reportable segments.[21]

For FY2025, the single segment generated $4,764.1 million in net sales. The company also discloses sales by product group—not by segment: Leisure contributed approximately 44.5%, Fashion and home 30.9%, and Snack and seasonal 24.6%. These are approximate shares of consolidated net sales, calculated from the reported product-group revenue figures. FY2025 ended January 31, 2026; the latest available interim filing is FY2026 Q2, for the quarter ended August 1, 2026, and it continues to report one operating segment.[22] [21]
