Company profile

Figure Technology Solutions, Inc.

Updated

Overview

Figure Technology Solutions, Inc. is a financial technology company whose platform combines digital lending infrastructure with a marketplace for loan funding and sales. Its products include a loan origination system, HELOCs, DSCR loans, crypto-backed loans and Figure Connect, a private-credit marketplace. Figure uses blockchain technology in parts of its platform; its loan origination system does not rely on blockchain.[1]

Founded in 2018, Figure describes its mission as transforming financial services by bringing speed, efficiency and savings to consumers.[5][6] For the six months ended June 30, 2026, it reported $392.6 million in total net revenue; in July 2026, the company said more than 380 partners used its loan origination system and marketplace.[7][8] [1]

Products & services

Figure Technology Solutions, Inc. offers a home-equity line of credit (HELOC) through its consumer channel. Figure’s product page lists HELOC amounts of $15,000 to $750,000, with fixed- and variable-rate options. Its lending marketplace and loan-origination technology also support debt-service-coverage-ratio (DSCR) loans—business-purpose loans secured by rental properties—and loans backed by digital assets.[9][10]

Figure’s technology offering combines a loan origination system (LOS) with Figure Connect, a marketplace that connects loan sellers with capital-markets partners and buyers. The cloud-based LOS supports application submission, information verification, risk underwriting, electronic offers and borrower-signed electronic documents; lender partners can originate loans under their own brands. Figure earns technology and processing fees linked to loan principal originated on its LOS and loans transacted through Connect, as well as origination fees in Figure-branded and partner-branded channels.[11]

Other offerings include blockchain infrastructure for digital assets and credit, an interest-bearing stablecoin security, and Democratized Prime, a blockchain-based lending marketplace. The latter includes pools involving tokenized HELOCs and margin funding for digital-asset trading on Figure Exchange; its lending rates are set hourly through Dutch-style auctions.[11]

For the six months ended June 30, 2026, reported revenue included ecosystem and technology fees (30.6% of net revenue), gain on loan sales (27.2%), origination fees (12.6%) and servicing fees (5.4%). These are revenue-category shares, not percentages attributable to individual loan products; the cited reporting does not establish a product-by-product revenue split.[17] [11]

Geographic presence

Figure Technology Solutions’ HELOC product was available in 49 states and Washington, D.C., following its expansion into New York and Delaware; this describes HELOC availability, not necessarily the footprint of every business line.[18]

At December 31, 2025, the company reported approximately 602 full-time employees and leased about 60,000 square feet across eight U.S. office locations. Its principal executive office is at 100 West Liberty Street, Suite 600, Reno, Nevada; the filing does not name the other office cities or provide employee-location distribution.[19] Revenue is disclosed by type rather than by country or region, so geographic revenue amounts and percentages are not available from the cited filing.[22] The company reports state-by-state licensing requirements for lending, servicing, money transmission, virtual-currency and related activities, including requirements in states and territories where it operates and in Washington, D.C.[23][24] [19]

Business segments

Figure Technology Solutions reports one operating and reportable segment, rather than separate lending, marketplace, or blockchain segments. Accordingly, its sole reported segment represents 100% of consolidated business; the company does not disclose revenue or profit contributions for separate segments. The segment is assessed on a consolidated basis, with consolidated net income used for performance evaluation and resource allocation [25][26]. The FY2025 filing describes platform activities including loan application, underwriting, funding, and capital-markets functions; named products and services are not presented as reportable segments [1][2].

For additional context—not as segment shares—FY2025 consolidated net revenue was $506.865 million. The company’s revenue-line disaggregation was: ecosystem and technology fees, $120.808 million (23.8%); servicing fees, $31.540 million (6.2%); interest income, $74.810 million (14.8%); origination fees, $72.536 million (14.3%); gain on sale of loans, net, $180.024 million (35.5%); gain on servicing asset, net, $24.567 million (4.8%); and other revenue, $2.580 million (0.5%). Percentages are approximate shares of consolidated net revenue and may not total exactly 100% due to rounding [27]. [25]

Company history

Figure emerged from stealth on March 20, 2018, with Michael Cagney as a co-founder; later that year, it launched an online home-equity loan product [28]. In 2020, Figure announced its first third-party loan trade on Provenance and launched a marketplace for trading loans on the blockchain [31][32].

In 2023, Figure introduced a wholesale model to expand distribution of its home-equity product. Michael Tannenbaum became CEO in April 2024, succeeding Cagney, and Figure announced Figure Connect, a platform for loan and asset trading, that June [33]. Figure completed its IPO and began trading on Nasdaq in September 2025 [37]. In 2026, its On-Chain Public Equity Network began running on Provenance, and Figure completed its acquisition of Kiavi’s technology and operating platform [38][39]. [29]
