Products & services
Fastighets Balder offers rental apartments and commercial premises including offices, shops, warehouses, restaurants and education space. Its portfolio also includes hotels in Germany and office and retail properties in London.[9] The company’s offerings include mixed-use properties; for example, its London wells&more property combines office, healthcare and retail space in an approximately 11,000-square-metre building.[10]
Services for tenants include support with rent, contracts, maintenance, safety and moving, as well as parking and garage rentals.[11][12] Balder also describes local property management, inspections and maintenance, and real-time monitoring technology used to identify issues and optimize energy use.[13] [9][10][11][12][13][10][11][12]

Company history
Fastighets AB Balder was founded in Sweden in 2005 by Erik Selin and Sharam Rahi, and its Class B shares have been listed on Nasdaq since that year.[21][22][23] In 2007, Balder sold 29 industrial and warehouse properties to Corem Property Group and became a major Corem shareholder. In 2011, it acquired 25 retail properties from Catena for the newly established Fastighets AB Centur, then sold half of Centur to Peab.[21]
The company expanded beyond Sweden during the following decade: in 2015 it acquired a 53% stake in Finnish housing company SATO, in 2016 it bought its first property in Norway, and in 2018 it entered Germany through the acquisition of seven hotels.[21] In 2021, Balder acquired Norwegian industrial-property company Asset Buyout Partners.[24]
At the 2026 annual general meeting, founder and CEO Erik Selin became Executive Chairman and Sharam Rahi succeeded him as CEO.[25][26] [25][21][22][23][24][26]
