Enova International reports one operating and reportable segment, rather than separate consumer and small-business segments. Its business focuses on online credit and financing for non-prime consumers and small businesses, including installment loans and lines of credit; the company’s operations include the U.S. and Brazil.[18][15] The consumer and small-business figures below are product-revenue categories, not separately reported segments.
In FY2025, consumer loans and receivables generated approximately 55.5% of revenue ($1,748.1 million), while small-business loans and receivables contributed about 43.2% ($1,362.2 million); other revenue was about 1.3% ($41.4 million).[23] For the six months ended June 30, 2026, the mix was approximately 51.2% consumer ($923.2 million), 47.5% small business ($856.8 million), and 1.3% other ($24.1 million).[12] Enova does not report separate operating income by these product categories; its segment reporting is consolidated. Company history
Enova traces its origins to Check Giant, founded by two brothers in 2004 and renamed CashNetUSA later that year. Cash America acquired CashNetUSA in 2006; the business became Enova in 2011, when Enova International, Inc. was formed. The company launched its NetCredit installment-loan brand in 2012.[25][26]
On November 13, 2014, Cash America completed the spin-off of Enova, which began trading independently on the New York Stock Exchange as ENVA. Enova expanded into small-business lending by completing its acquisition of OnDeck in October 2020, followed in March 2021 by its acquisition of Pangea Universal Holdings, a mobile international money-transfer platform.[27][28][29][30][31]
David Fisher joined Enova as CEO in 2013 and became Executive Chairman on January 1, 2026, when Steve Cunningham succeeded him as CEO.[32][33] [26][27][29][32][25][28][30][31][33]
