Business segments
Dana Inc. reports two continuing business segments. **Light Vehicle** serves light-vehicle markets, particularly full-frame trucks and SUVs as well as CUVs, vans, sports cars and supercars. Its products include axles, driveshafts, transmissions and electrification systems, along with sealing and thermal-management products. In FY2025, the segment recorded $5.217 billion in external sales, approximately **69.6%** of the company’s $7.500 billion total.[17][6][18]
**Commercial Vehicle** serves medium- and heavy-duty trucks, buses and specialty vehicles, with products including axles, driveshafts, transmissions and electrification systems, as well as sealing and thermal-management products. FY2025 external sales were $2.283 billion, approximately **30.4%** of total sales.[17][6][18] Dana moved to this two-segment structure in Q1 2025: its former Power Technologies business was allocated between Light Vehicle and Commercial Vehicle, while Off-Highway was classified as discontinued operations.[19][20] [17][6][18][18][18][19][20]
Company history

In 2016, Dana Holding Corporation changed its name to Dana Incorporated.[23] The company broadened its businesses through acquisitions including Brevini’s power-transmission and fluid-power operations in 2017 and Oerlikon’s Drive Systems segment in 2019, and expanded into electrification and controls through purchases including TM4, SME Group, and Pi Innovo between 2018 and 2021.[24][25][26][27][28] Dana completed the sale of its Off-Highway business on January 2, 2026.[29][30] [22][29][21][23][24][25][26][27][28][30]
