Based on the 2025 year-end portfolio value at 100% (€23.684 billion), Offices represented about 39% (€9.261bn), German residential about 32% (€7.659bn), and Hotels about 28% (€6.734bn). These percentages indicate portfolio-value contributions, not revenue or earnings shares.[17] [17]

Company history

Covivio traces its origins to 1963, when its predecessor began by operating Metz’s first underground car park. In 1983, it acquired Immobilière Batibail and residential assets and took the name Garages Souterrains et Foncière des Régions; it became Foncière des Régions in 2002. Between 2003 and 2006, it expanded in French offices, established a housing-focused subsidiary and absorbed Bail Investissement Foncière.[18]

The company expanded beyond France with a 2007 acquisition of a majority stake in Italian property company Beni Stabili, followed by German residential acquisitions in 2013 and the creation of a hotel-investment subsidiary in 2014. It launched a coworking offer in 2017, rebranded as Covivio in 2018, and completed the cross-border merger of Beni Stabili at the end of that year.[18][19]

In 2020, Covivio acquired German office company Godewind AG and eight hotels leased to NH; Germany became its largest portfolio exposure by value in 2021. Jean-Luc Biamonti became Board Chair in July 2022. In June 2025, Covivio acquired the remaining 25% of the CB21 tower, reaching full ownership.[19][20] [18]
