Coca-Cola Consolidated, Inc. is a U.S. nonalcoholic-beverage bottler that manufactures, markets, sells and distributes Coca-Cola Company brands and other beverages under territory-specific agreements. Its portfolio spans sparkling drinks, including Coca-Cola, and still beverages such as energy drinks, water, ready-to-drink tea and coffee, juices, and sports drinks.[1]

The company operates across parts of 14 states and the District of Columbia, serving about 60 million consumers; its reported footprint is regional and U.S.-based.[4][5] Its stated purpose is “to honor God in all we do, to serve others, to pursue excellence, and to grow profitably.” [5] Fiscal 2025 net sales were $7.228 billion, and a company announcement in August 2026 referred to more than 17,000 teammates.[4][6] [1]

Products & services

Coca-Cola Consolidated’s portfolio includes sparkling beverages such as Coca-Cola, Coca-Cola Zero Sugar, Diet Coke, Sprite, Fanta, Barq’s, Mello Yello, Fresca and Seagram’s Ginger Ale, alongside still beverages including BODYARMOR, Core Power, Dasani, fairlife, smartwater, vitaminwater, Gold Peak, Minute Maid, POWERade, Topo Chico and Tum-E Yummies. Its principal-products listings also include partner or licensed brands such as Dr Pepper, Monster Energy, Bang Energy and Reign.[7][8] Still-beverage categories include energy drinks, bottled water, ready-to-drink tea and coffee, enhanced water, juices and sports drinks.[3]

Products are sold in bottles and cans, primarily plastic bottles and aluminum cans, and through fountain post-mix: syrup is combined with carbonated or still water at the retailer for serving in cups or glasses.[9][10] The company also provides beverage delivery and fountain-equipment maintenance and repair; customer services include product ordering and equipment-service requests.[11] In the first half of 2026, bottle-and-can volume was 184.648 million standard physical cases, comprising 137.982 million sparkling cases and 46.666 million still cases.[15] [7]

Geographic presence

Coca-Cola Consolidated’s FY2025 Form 10-K describes a distribution and operating footprint spanning 14 states and Washington, D.C. Its territory includes all of Maryland and portions of North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, Delaware, Pennsylvania, Kentucky, Ohio, Arkansas, Tennessee, Mississippi, Indiana and Illinois.[16][13]

The company lists 10 manufacturing plants and 60 distribution centers. Its facilities include locations in Charlotte, Baltimore, Silver Spring, Roanoke, Sandston, West Memphis, Nashville, Indianapolis, Cincinnati and Twinsburg; Charlotte is also its corporate headquarters.[17][18] The filing reports FY2025 consolidated net sales but does not provide a geographic revenue breakdown or employee distribution by region.[19][20] [16]

Business segments

Coca-Cola Consolidated reported two operating segments in its 2025 Form 10-K: **Nonalcoholic Beverages** and **All Other**. Nonalcoholic Beverages is the company’s principal beverage business and accounts for the vast majority of consolidated net sales and operating income. All Other includes Red Classic subsidiaries; disclosed activities include freight-hauling and brokerage services. The company presents All Other as an aggregated category rather than a separately reportable segment, so it reports one reportable segment.[21]

For 2025, Nonalcoholic Beverages had net sales of $7,183.782 million, approximately **99.4%** of consolidated net sales. All Other had segment net sales of $325.969 million, including $281.696 million in intersegment sales eliminated on consolidation; its external contribution was $44.273 million, approximately **0.6%** of consolidated net sales. Percentages are calculated from the reported figures.[24][25] [21]

Company history

Coca-Cola Consolidated traces its roots to 1902, when J. B. Harrison began bottling Coca-Cola in Greensboro, North Carolina. The present company was incorporated in 1980. It expanded through acquisitions, including Wometco Coca-Cola Bottling Company subsidiaries in 1985, Coca-Cola Bottling Company of West Virginia in 1989, Sunbelt Coca-Cola Bottling Company in 1991, and Carolina Coca-Cola Bottling Company in 1999.[26]

J. Frank Harrison III became CEO in 1994 and chairman in 1996. From 2014 to 2017, a series of transactions with The Coca-Cola Company expanded and reshaped the company’s distribution territories. In 2019, it changed its legal name from Coca-Cola Bottling Co. Consolidated to Coca-Cola Consolidated, Inc. In 2025, it completed a roughly $2.4 billion repurchase of shares held by an indirect subsidiary of The Coca-Cola Company.[31] [27]
