Overview

Celsius Holdings, Inc. is a functional beverage company that develops, markets, sells, manufactures and distributes energy and wellness drinks for active, wellness-oriented consumers. Its portfolio is led by the CELSIUS, Alani Nu and Rockstar brands.[1][2]

The company operates in North America and internationally, with reported sales across Europe, Asia-Pacific and other markets.[3][4] For the year ended December 31, 2025, Celsius reported revenue of approximately $2.52 billion and 1,497 people globally, including individuals engaged through professional employer organizations.[4] A 2023 company presentation described its mission as becoming a global leader in a branded portfolio of proprietary, clinically proven or innovative products offering significant health benefits.[5] [1]

Products & services

Celsius Holdings’ product portfolio comprises CELSIUS, Alani Nu and Rockstar branded beverages and nutrition products. CELSIUS includes ready-to-drink functional energy beverages, on-the-go powders and CELSIUS ESSENTIALS, a 16-ounce energy drink line with aminos. CELSIUS Hydration is a caffeine-free, zero-sugar powder with electrolytes, sold in flavors including Fruit Punch, Blue Razz and Arctic Cherry.[6]

Alani Nu’s products include energy drinks, pre-workout formulas, protein beverages and supplements; its energy drinks include 12-ounce, zero-sugar cans with 200 mg of caffeine, such as Breezeberry and Sherbet Swirl. Rockstar offers traditional energy drinks in full-sugar and zero-sugar varieties, including The Original, Pure Zero Fruit Punch and Silver Ice. Across the portfolio, products include carbonated and non-carbonated beverages, primarily in 12- and 16-ounce cans, as well as single-serve powders and select protein, amino-blend and other nutrition products. Formulations may include caffeine, green tea extract, ginger-root extract, amino acids, vitamins and electrolytes; CELSIUS and Alani Nu products are described as containing no aspartame or high-fructose corn syrup and being primarily sweetened with sucralose.[10]

For the six months ended June 30, 2026, reported revenue was $1,600.5 million: $735.0 million from CELSIUS (about 45.9%), $732.4 million from Alani Nu (about 45.8%) and $133.1 million from Rockstar (about 8.3%). These are brand-attributed shares of total revenue, calculated from reported amounts. The company also develops, manufactures, processes, markets, sells and distributes its branded products; its filings do not describe a separate customer-service offering.[19] [6]

Geographic presence

Celsius Holdings’ sales footprint includes the United States and select Canadian territories, as well as markets in Europe, the Middle East, Asia-Pacific, Australia and New Zealand. Named distribution territories include the United Kingdom, Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Ireland, France, Monaco, Belgium, Luxembourg and the Netherlands, along with Australia, New Zealand and Pacific Islands.[24] The company uses regional distribution partners, including Pepsi for the Celsius portfolio in the U.S. and Canada and Suntory-affiliated distributors in several international markets.[24]

Celsius identifies its principal executive office in Boca Raton, Florida, and a global center of excellence in Dublin, Ireland; it also leases office space in Europe and Asia.[26][27] In its FY2025 reporting, Celsius described operations across multiple geographic regions but reported one operating segment; the reviewed disclosures did not provide revenue percentages by country or region.[28] [24]

Business segments

Celsius Holdings, Inc. reports one operating and reportable segment, encompassing the company’s beverage operations and brands, including Celsius, Alani Nu, and Rockstar. The company states that its CEO reviews performance and allocates resources on a consolidated basis, and that economic interdependencies among brands, products, and geographies support reporting them together rather than as separate segments.[28]

Accordingly, the single reportable segment accounts for 100% of the company’s consolidated results. The filings do not disclose revenue or profit contributions separately for individual brands, products, or geographies, so further percentage splits are not supported.[28][29] [28]

Company history

Celsius Holdings traces its founding to April 2004 and introduced its first CELSIUS functional energy drink in 2005. In January 2007, the company acquired the Celsius beverage business from Elite FX through a merger. The brand expanded internationally with its launch in Sweden in 2009.[31]

A major corporate and market milestone came in 2017, when Celsius shares began trading on Nasdaq. John Fieldly, who had become interim CEO that year, was appointed CEO in 2018. The company entered a long-term U.S. distribution partnership with PepsiCo in 2022, alongside PepsiCo’s $550 million investment in preferred stock.[34]

In 2024, Celsius announced distribution arrangements with Suntory for Great Britain and Ireland, and with Suntory Oceania for Australia and New Zealand. In 2025, Celsius completed its acquisition of Alani Nu and acquired certain Rockstar assets in the United States and Canada as part of an expanded PepsiCo relationship.[39] [31]
