Munksund produces white-top kraftliner, designed for printability and consumer-visible packaging, and wet-strength kraftliner for durable packaging exposed to humid or variable-temperature conditions. Obbola makes kraftliner for a range of applications; its expanded production line has a stated ramp-up target of 725,000 tonnes per year.       "text": "SCA traces part of its industrial heritage to Galtström Ironworks, founded in 1673, and was established on 27 November 1929 when Ivar Kreuger brought together several forestry companies. The company expanded into packaging paper when its first kraftliner machine began operating at Munksund in 1961, and into hygiene products through its acquisition of control of Mölnlycke in 1975. In 1995, SCA acquired a majority stake in Germany’s PWA, expanding its European hygiene-products business.
