## Company history

IDEXX Laboratories traces its origins to AgriTech Systems, Inc., incorporated in Delaware in 1983. By 1986, it was selling HerdChek livestock diagnostic tests. The company went public in June 1991; that year it also introduced a parvovirus antigen test for dogs.
