      "text": "Grupo Simec’s industrial origins date to 1969, when families from Guadalajara formed Compañía Siderúrgica de Guadalajara. Grupo Sidek was incorporated as its holding company in 1980, and Grupo Simec was established in 1990 to consolidate steel and aluminum operations.
