      "text": "Coca-Cola production in Chile began in 1943 under a local licensee. After that company withdrew, U.S. and Chilean investors formed Andina in 1946, and it became Coca-Cola’s sole licensee in Chile. Andina expanded production and distribution across central and southern Chile before selling most of its licenses outside metropolitan Santiago in the early 1980s. It acquired its Brazilian operation in 1994 and bought NVG in 2000, extending its territory in southeastern Brazil.
